What is the Slave and MasterTendency
1. Slave Tendency
The slave tendency is an ideal tendency, but it is extremely unlikely to exist. This is because the human ego is a constraint on the slave tendency. The human brain is focused on survival and tends to seek pleasure. Since the slave tendency is contrary to our basic purpose of survival, I assume that people who claim to be slaves are hard-core submissives. Therefore, the slave tendency is an idealised but unrealistic tendency.
*Slave: a disposition to give oneself up and become used or enslaved.
2. Master Tendency
The Master tendency is the tendency to seek complete control and *24/7 dominance over one’s subjects or slaves. Most people have emotions, which makes it difficult to exist in the real world as an idealised personality. However, there is a small percentage of people who have personality disorders such as sociopaths and psychopaths, so even if you meet someone who is a Master, it is unlikely to lead to a happy relationship unless they are also a Slave.
